John E. Laboe, Esq.

John E. Laboe is a Shareholder with Laboe & Tasker, PLLC. John counsels businesses, families, and individuals in the topic areas of: Business Planning; Estate Planning; Elder Law; Medicaid Planning; Trust and Estate Administration; Taxation; Litigation; Administrative Agency Appeals, and Real Estate. John holds a B.A. in English and Speech Communications (Boston College, 1976) and a J.D. (Georgetown University Law Center, 1979). John is a member of the Corporation, Banking & Business; Real Property Law; Taxation; and Trust & Estate Sections of the New Hampshire Bar Administration as well as the American Bar Association and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA).

John has been a co-chair for NH NAELA’s Legislative Affairs Committee since 2009. He is a frequent author and presenter on elder law topics and in 2010, John was presented with the Outstanding Chapter Member Award by the NH Chapter of NAELA in recognition of his distinguished service and dedication to the Chapter and Elders in New Hampshire. The NH Chapter of NAELA also presented John with the Ann N. Butenhof Award in 2012 in recognition of his distinguished service and dedication to the Chapter and Elders in New Hampshire.

John served as Trustee on the Board of Trustees for the New Hampshire Supreme Court Society until 2020. He is also a Member of the Christian Legal Society, National and NH Chapter.

John is admitted to practice in New Hampshire, U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire, U.S. Tax Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal District.

Kerri S. Tasker, Esq.

Kerri S. Tasker is a Shareholder with Laboe & Tasker, PLLC. She concentrates her practice on: Estate Planning; Elder Law; Medicaid Planning, Applications and Appeals; Probate and Estate Administration; Guardianships; Special Needs Trusts; Elder Exploitation, Abuse and Neglect; and Nursing Home Discharges. Kerri holds a B.S. (St. Michael’s College, 1997), an M.B.A. (Suffolk University Sawyer School of Management, 2004); and a J.D. (Suffolk University Law School, 2004). Kerri is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association’s Trust & Estate Section, the American Bar Association, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA).

Kerri served for many years on the Board of Directors for the NH Chapter of NAELA and is currently a co-chair for NH NAELA’s Legislative Affairs Committee. She is a frequent presenter and author on elder law topics and was named as one of the 2015 NAELA Outstanding Chapter Members in recognition of her demonstration of outstanding initiative and leadership on behalf of the New Hampshire Chapter. Kerri was also the recipient of the Ann N. Butenhof Award by the NH Chapter in 2010 and 2013.

Danielle C. Gaudreau, Esq.

Danielle C. Gaudreau is an Associate with Laboe & Tasker, PLLC. She joined the firm in 2017. Prior to joining the firm, Danielle represented creditor interests in real estate title clearing litigation, condominium litigation, and post-foreclosure asset recovery litigation and mediation.

Her practice areas with the firm include: Business Formation and
Succession Planning; Real Estate Conveyancing; Litigation; and Trust and Estate Administration. Danielle holds a B.A. in Political Science (Boston College, 2005); a MSc. In Comparative Politics (London School of Economics and Political Science, 2006); and a J.D. (Suffolk University Law School, 2012). Danielle is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association’s Corporation, Banking & Business; Real Property Law; and Trust & Estate Sections.

Carol M. Stamatakis, Esq.

Carol M. Stamatakis, Esq.

Carol Stamatakis is Of Counsel with Laboe & Tasker, PLLC. Prior to joining the firm in 2021, she was a legal, legislative and public policy advisor and agency administrator in the fields of aging and disabilities. She served as Legal Coordinator for the NH Department of Health and Human Services, Executive Director of the NH Council on Developmental Disabilities, Executive Director of Senior Solutions, an Area Aging on Aging in Vermont and three terms in the NH legislature.

Her practice is concentrated in Estate Planning. She is a longtime member of the NH Bar Association Trusts & Estates and Public Sector Law Sections, and for many years chaired the Mental and Physical Disabilities Law Section. She is Vice-Chair of the NH Commission on Aging and serves on the National Adult Protective Services Association Public Policy Committee. She has presented at national and regional conferences on aging and disabilities and enjoys meeting with community groups and encouraging citizens to speak out on policy issues that impact their lives.

Carol is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Law and is admitted to practice in New Hampshire, Vermont, and the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire.
